Who is Ruth?

If you’ve read my bio you’ll see that my career path has had its fair share of twists and turns: Cognitive Psychologist, Consumer Insights Manager, Business Executive, Pastor, Coach. Some might call it eclectic, but as I look back I can see how I have really done one thing all my life: studied and developed human potential in different ways. A few years into my 14-year career at Procter & Gamble (one of the world’s leading consumer goods companies), I realised that the determining factor in my success was not going to be my human insight or my creative and strategic thinking skills, but my ability to lead others and myself. This realisation has taken me on an exciting journey to grow others and myself to become the best they can be in every organisation I have worked in. And along the way I discovered and developed my purpose: To inspire, champion and challenge people to show up more fully, stand up for what matters, and step up to make the biggest difference they can make in the world for the good of future generations.

My coaching experience

I began professional coach training in 2006 with the Coactive Training Institute (CTI), went on to be trained as an Internal Executive Coach within P&G in 2007, and have been coaching ever since. I am now a Certified Professional Co-active Coach with my PCC accreditation from the International Coach Federation and have been working as an independent coach since 2017. I am also an MBTI practitioner and a certified Coach, Speaker, Trainer with the John Maxwell Team.
